Week of September 9th to 13th

Great news!! We are finally getting a MIRA dog. I will be picking him/her up on Wednesday the 18th of September so the students will be getting to see the puppy soon. They were very happy to hear the news!
For the classes that have an allergic student the dog will be sent to the class of Miss Ioana or another classroom as to not disturb the student with allergies. Thank you for your support with this wonderful project.

Grade 1
This week we learned to say hello and how are you in English as a part of the classroom routine. We will be using these words a lot so I encourage the kids to use them and practice them as much as we can even when I see them outside of class! They are getting so good!
Here are the links to the videos for our how are you song:

Enjoy!

Grade 2
This week I asked the students to share with me their summer vacation. They wrote a sentence about their vacation and then they drew that memory. We then had them present each of their vacation to the class in English of course! They did so well and they all really enjoyed their summer!

Grade 3
This week we continued working on our school object vocabulary and will continue with this theme for a few more classes. I will be sending them some words to study as well as some work to be done in their Activity book. Please encourage them to do their homework and study their words. A test will be given at the end of the unit.

Thank you all for a great week! Enjoy your weekend!
